| About me: | I am a writer....not by trade, but I do love to create "word pictures" in an attempt to convey to others what is in my mind, and my heart. My favorite "vehicle" for doing this is by writing poetry. I find it to be very healing and therapeutic to write.....a much more sane way to deal with life issues and changes that sooner or later affect all of us in one way or another. |
| Looking for: | One of those "issues" relates how life changes when you begin to see the health of someone close begin to fail to where they can no longer live their life in the same way as they once used to do. It would be wonderful to have a special friend for e-mail/chat living in the Pacific Time Zone, who understands the hardship of what change brings into a person's life, whether due to health issues, or anything else that motivates you to ask, "What is going on?", or "Where is my life headed?" I would be willing to consider corresponding with someone outside of my time zone if we really "hit it off", and could remain in regular contact, but being at too great of a distance would be difficult if we were to want to have online chat. Any marital status would be acceptable, as long as you are still breathing, have a sensitive and caring side, and have a spontaneous sense of humor that can be shared with someone else who also likes to smile once in a while. If we hit it off, you might even be able to persuade me to share some of my poetry with you at some point in time. Truthfully, I am not looking to correspond with "many", and would prefer to only write a single friend who would entertain the idea of regular correspondence, whether it be in the evening, and could even include "quickies" as time avails itself throughout the day. I guess you might call it a committed friendship. Of course, that takes an investment of time which will be required in order to see if there is a mutual connection of shared interests. If after reading this, you find something "tugging" at your heart to write to me, then by all means do so. Tell me a little about yourself, and why you felt compelled to respond. I can't promise that I will respond to all, but being a sensitive man, I do have the gift of recognizing a potential friendship "from a distance" through your words, so choose them carefully. What is there to lose? |
